With over 425 screw machines in four locations, KKSP Precision Machining is the largest machine shop of its kind in North America. We maintain a vast array of secondary attachments so that we can complete most secondary processes in one operation, saving time and reducing your cost. Below is a list of our principal machine types and their capabilities.
High speed, versatile, 5-spindle automatic screw machines. Ideally suited to run quantities of 100,000 or more. Part geometry should be in the size range 1/8" to 7/8" diameter, with overall lengths under 3".
Our bar fed 6 and 8 spindle, automatic machines specialize in high volume precision part manufacturing with sizes ranging from 1" to 2-5/8" in diameter and generally under 3" length.
These single spindle machines efficiently produce smaller quantities of parts in diameters of 1/16" to 2 5/8".
These sophisticated machines combine the flexibility of more complex operations with extremely high throughput and extremely tight tolerance capabilities. Our fleet includes machines which have 16, 12, and 10 machining stations.
Our CNC Turning and Machining department complements our high volume capabilities with the ability to produce prototypes, samples, and other parts with lower volume requirements than would be suitable for our multi-spindle machines.
Our CNC Multi Spindle operation combines the speed of a standard multi spindle machine with the elegance of a CNC operation. This operation is designed to produce high volumes (>200,000 pieces) of high complexity.
Our CNC Swiss operation incorporates live tooling and provides an opportunity to supply ultra precision parts in longer part configurations, up to ¾" diameter and up to 8 " long. The cycle times are significantly shorter than on conventional CNCs and therefore there is opportunity for cost savings.
All our facilities have state-of-the-art parts washing and degreasing which we employ to provide our customers with clean assembly-ready parts.
Secondary operations are available, including drilling, tapping, milling, broaching, turning, and ballizing, through feed and in-feed grinding and multiple station MSO machines. Heat treating and plating are accomplished by our approved subcontractors.
Regular, complete machine rebuilding from the ground-up means your job runs on a precision machine, every time. Our in-house tool maintenance facility allows us to consistently provide unprecedented accuracy.
